Walking Tour Exploring the Life of William J. Brown
April 13, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. & April 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

Two walking tours exploring the life of William J. Brown, a free African American in 19th century Providence, will take place on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

Tours originate at the RISD Auditorium on the river-walk between College and Waterman Streets. Noted historian, Ray Rickman, will lead the walks. Reservations are required. To book one of only 22 spots available on each tour, please call (401) 421-0606.
