    Walking Tour Exploring the Life of William J. Brown
April 13, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. & April 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

Two walking tours exploring the life of William J. Brown, a free African American in 19th century Providence, will take place on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

Tours originate at the RISD Auditorium on the river-walk between College and Waterman Streets. Noted historian, Ray Rickman, will lead the walks.
